We operate with raised floor space for our cloud infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, and dedicated hardware solutions. We have space, power, cooling, fully secure corporate server rooms, etc. We continually search for additional data center / server room acquisition locations for redundancy and enhanced service options.
Our power infrastructure is set up to provide multiple power circuits and UPS protection to each rack for redundancy and flexibility. Each circuit is connected to an individual PDU, multiple automatic transfer switches, multiple utility power connections, and on site generation equipment.
We have over battery backup time which is more than sufficient time for our on-site generators to kick on and take over in case utility power is cut. Our on-site generators take approximately 10 seconds to kick on and provide clean and reliable power to run our facility. We use the latest monitoring systems to carefully watch our power consumption to ensure that we are making the best use of available resources and reduce overall load on the utility power grid.
We have multiple redundant ventilation and air conditioning systems. We use high-capacity air handlers to allow heat removal in ‘hot isles’ and more air flow to the ‘cold isles’. Our systems and facilities managers constantly monitor the data center and surrounding spaces for air quality, smoke, fire, water & humidity, temperature, and more.
We have multiple layers of physical security including monitored entry barriers before you actually get into the data center, 24/7/365 monitored CCTV from multiple locations, security & alarm service for the facility, as well as multiple layers of physical and logical monitoring for our facilities. We maintain full access, audit, and security logs, video, and other information in accordance with compliance/regulatory guidelines.
We provide a flexible network with multiple high-speed fiber connections available to multiple backbone providers for direct cross connects, as well as premium blended bandwidth through our internal network. We maintain considerable capacity to make sure you have the resources available when you need them by keeping a minimum of 50% of our total capacity in reserve.
Our network is designed to provide connectivity with low latency through high-powered Cisco routers and switches, direct fiber optic connections with Tier 1 providers, and by dedicating considerable engineering resources to constant improvement and monitoring. We regularly work with clients to make sure that we provide the bandwidth they need with as few hops and as little latency as possible between termination services points.
